Biographie d'Agnė Bagdžiūnaitė

Agnė Bagdžiūnaitė lives and works in Kaunas, Lithuania. Her curatorial research interests include art and politics, the theory of critical feminism, social reproduction, and social movements. At the moment Bagdžiūnaitė is curating art residencies, exhibitions, event series, video art screenings, performance evenings and community-based projects at Kaunas Artists’ House.
She is also involved in running the social centre Emma, left media platform Gyvenimas per brangus.

She is part of the International Left Festival Kombinatas and Queer Film Festival Kreivės organising groups.

During her stay in Nice she would like to get to know more about the leisure industry of the city and would love to have some discussions and conversations with artists and curators around feminism and politics of culture as well as political art in Nice.
