Rosanna del Solar
(1979, Lima, Peru), curator, lives and works in Lima.

Studied Philosophy at the Antonio Ruiz de Montoya University. She also has culinary training from Cordon Bleu de Lima and a BA in fashion design.
She was part of the training program of Bar Project (2017-18) in Barcelona. She is interested in exploring the connections between art and politics and art’s potential in times of crisis ; the practices and issues related to public space, democracy, equality, coloniality of power and social spaces.

Her most recent exhibitions includes Longing & Belonging (2018) carried out with the support of the Curatorial Program for Research (CPR) and My Nose Grows Now! by Marisol Malatesta in the Luis Miro Quesada Garland Gallery and Sala 770 (2016). Her collaborations also includes Peru: Land of Tomorrow by Juan Javier Salazar (Pic © Venice Documentation) which was part of the official selection of the 57th Venice Biennial (2017), Remittances: 13 Peruvian artists abroad (2012) and Bulto – MALI In situ ( 2011) by artist Melanie Smith which was also part of the official selection of the 54th Venice Biennale, among others.

She is one of the researchers for Giro Gráfico, project that will take place at the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid in 2020.
